I vote yes....but I'm also the guy that had my USAS 12 seized back in the day....

I saw a USAS 12 in a gun store outside of Las Vegas a few weeks ago, such a nice lookin' shooter, whatta shame... Honestly I couldn't convince myself to pay more than $600 for a shotgun at this point, regardless of how much fun it looks.

I voted nay at the price and nay because the carry handle looks like an AR so those limp d***s at the RCMP will call it a variant.

Another big issue to consider is magazines.]

If you sell mag-fed shotguns, you need to have a ton of extra magazines for sale at a reasonable price.

This is why the Valtro shotguns suck. You can buy the gun for $900, and it only comes with one magazine. Extra magazines seem to not even exist.

Chop off all the AR looking parts then submit it for evaluation to the RC's. Then after it gets approved add the AR type parts back on.
It would be the same model, better odds getting it approved as the cops go by the "walk like a duck, quacks like a duck" mentality when it comes to classification...

looks good..............

hard to say yay or nay.................

looks great but what are construction materials and place of manufacture(r).....

what is fit and finish like........weight..........warranty...................parts................chokes.................slugs................................................................

interested but far more data needed...............

I said Nay only because it will probably wind up being restricted due to the appearance.
I doubt the RCMP would classify this otherwise, like others have said about the Akdal.

i also agree about the shortsightedness of the rcmp gun legislators; they would list a broom as restricted if it would turn out to be shaped like an ar-15, so you are swimming against the current with that 12 gauge from the beginning.

my god men, how cynical have we become....

we should not think like that...

Yay or nay?

Pricing is estimated at 999-1199 retail

Current configuration of this model is a bit rough around the edges but we would have it imported in the configuration as seen in the video. We are told mounting of optics is an option; don't know specifics as of yet.

For me a shotgun is a meat gun because I don't currently shoot trap or skeet.

Voted NO because it will probably be restricted.

Have 4 handguns in Canada and the only reason I don't sell those is that I go handgun hunting stateside from time to time. I'm not going to tie up hundreds of dollars in a paper-puncher.

restricted = useless = no sale

Haven't seen many ducks or partridge around my range lately.

If the gun was classified as non-restricted then I'd need to hold one in my hands and fire it before plunking down $1000 or so.

From the description this gun is a lot like the box fed Grizzly for over 3 times the money.

I'm leery of shotguns with box magazines.

A friend from my range had one of the Dominion Arms Grizzly shotguns with the box mag and had lots of trouble with jamming. Had to pay $100 for a gun smith to fix the gun and modify 2 mags so he could empty a magazine without the gun locking up on him. My tube fed Grizzly that I bought used has had at least 300 rounds through it including slugs and buckshot of different shell lengths and hasn't jammed or malfunctioned even once.

Nay.

It's a tomahawk, It'll fall apart in your hands much like that old vaudeville sketch with the 2 men sitting in an old model T and it falls to pieces around them leaving the driver just holding the wheel.

I voted no because of the price. I do think its very cool! But I dont see myself dropping a thousand on it. Just another gun I would have to buy mags for. Again very cool and if you do bring it in, Im sure you will have some one itching to buy it! I would if I made more money! BUT I DONT so I had to vote no. :(

I voted nay. The quality remains to be seen for the price. High chance the jerks at the RCMP lab will call it an "AR-15 variant" and deem it restricted. There is a demand in the market for a box mag fed 12 gauge semi auto shotgun, but if it even comes close to looking like an AR-15, until it's a sure thing that it's NR, I wouldn't touch it.
