Looked at one. They've been SOLD OUT. Put myself on the wait list.
But I think the hip thing will be very few and far between

Ha well, to be honest, the handle is much more about transport and breakdown than hipfire. :)

You can also score parts off eBay from countries in Europe with less ridiculous restrictions than the US.

Oooooooh, didn't think of that.
So...how do you go about the search for EuroEbay? I'm good with the Net...but not that good!! Lol
Do you just search the item you want and then filter through them by looking at where the originating country is?

I'm still getting mine working properly. I paid a lot of money it and the guy said it only malfunctioned a couple times, I have only fired a couple times. The headspace was so far off, I had to screw the barrel in about 1.5 turns. The brass stretched over 60 thou and some of the heads ripped off. I am looking at building a belt reloader, can't import them from the states..

LOVE the spade grips! And, most 1919's will run well +3 to +5 clicks out from the barrel being completely screwed in... Being 1.5 turns out is completely nuts!

Cheers
Jay

Nice one with the spade grip !!!

I run mine as the Youtube video shows 4 clicks (Federal XM80C 149 gr) and I haven't had one malfunction yet:

Anybody feel free to chime in here if I'm feeding bad advice as a newbie myself!

You can totally import a belt loader from the U.S by going through all the proper paper work and channels. You can find old original 1918 loaders here but will require a part to load .308 and they will run you a mighty penny ($$$)
I'm actually thinking of importing a bunch and putting them up for sale under my Co. I have a contact there that makes cheap ones. single loaders. Would anyone be interested if I took on the project?

I run mine at 3 clicks out for Norinco 7.62. Works flawlessly. 1.5 TURNS out? I'm surprised you still have a face.

canucklehead how do you assess re-arranging your head space with different type of ammo?
Less head space for hotter ammo or is it the other way around? Am I even on the right track?

I wanted the one from JJ Custom LLC but he wouldn't sell to Canadians.

This is very simple and it has an awl for stretching the pockets out. I would definitely buy one.

I've seen this one and it's more affordable than others. I would get my exporter to purchase them for us.
http://www.jjcustomllc.com/products.html
But please bear in mind that it's $340.00 UDS + Shipping and handling within the U.S + DOS Lic.fee + % of purchase for exporter + shipping to Canada + currency exchange + Canadian duty + My time + 13% tax.
I would estimate them to run close to $1000.00 tax incl. in your hands!
I will make a call and keep you guys posted. If it's a go...I'm willing to put up $$$ and bring 10 in, do I have takers?
