Semi-auto grizzy mag fed.

Wow. It sure is fugly.

Not to be too much of a Debbie downer but I bet it would be ultra unrealiable.

I take it this answered your questions.

Just one thought here. Norinco doesn't make the mag feds.... Hawk does.

It seems it's not "inside knowledge" you need but just general knowledge.

I retract the troll reference, I don't want to hurt any feelings, and your continued discusion shows it's unlikely to be the case.

Couger, hawk, dominion arms, Norconia, Grizzly etc...- all Norinco products. That stock in the picture, norinco yj-12 style, grizzly mag, chinese rem1100 clone. Yep. That's a Norinco product. They make stuff under twenty different names. Almost all seem to work pretty good.

You would be correct.

That explains it.

As per range rules any gun left unattented must be unloaded, so unless you start the stage with the shotgun 1st, it is unloaded on a table/chair/ground waiting for you somewhere. When you get to it you have to load it. While i'm fast at loading the tube, throwing a mag in will always be faster and easier to me.

Not all ranges have this rule, mine does. Therefore a mag fed couger would be on my must buy list. I've held off on buying a grizzley waiting for one!

Sorry, but your wrong. Norinco makes nothing. They are nothing but an exporter.

Thank you for clearing that up. I do see a use for mag fed shotguns. Detachable box magazines are a good idea and that is why almost all military firearms have them. Here it comes....BUT, the reliability issue stands. Semi auto shot guns are finicky at best. The pump Chinese mag Feds were also finicky. Put two and two together....

A little polishing solved the issue for most of the grizz's and a couple mags needed to be tweaked. If these guns were available in canada I'd be willing to put in the effort to get them to run reliabley.

Very good point. I like to tinker... Maybe I want one!

I don't think it would be my first choice if I NEEDED a gun though. No semi shotgun would.

Perhaps. From Wiki.

Norinco.

The China North Industries Corporation (Chinese: 北方工业 or 北方工業; pinyin: Běifāng Gōngyè; literally "North Industries"), official English name Norinco, manufactures vehicles (trucks, cars and motorcycles), machinery, optical-electronic products, oil field equipment, chemicals, light industrial products, explosives and blast materials, civil and military firearms and ammunition, etc. Norinco is also involved in domestic civil construction projects.

Norinco is also known outside of China for its high-tech defense products, some of which are adaptations of Soviet equipment. Norinco produces precision strike systems, amphibious assault weapons and equipment, long-range suppression weapon systems, anti-aircraft & anti-missile systems, information & night vision products, high-effect destruction systems,[4] fuel air bombs, anti-terrorism and anti-riot equipment and small arms.

But I've been wrong before.

Agreed. If I needed a gun, I would be hard pressed to leave behind a Lee Enfield, if it had to last forever, and a Cz858, if it just had to last as long as me.

My god man, you nailed it.

A shotgun has it's place I'm just a pump kinda guy. I did learn the semi mag fed would have a place in three gun. I'm always into more options even if it's not one for me...

They don't. Look up the frt numbers the info is right there.

The Norinco group is a very large entity and does infact own and operate manufacturing facilities but most of their products are actually produced by other companies.

Let me know when you learn to read and write. Then we can argue.

Back to the topic at hand. I think I might want a semi mag fed. That folding stock would be the first thing to go though.
