hi, anybody have a experience to shoot para ordance P16-40? or recomendation whats the best handgun to buy for shooting, coz i want to join a shooting club?

its a good gun. not really any different then any other 1911. if you like that kind of handgun look into a norinco 1911 in 9 or 45. norinco makes pretty much the perfect beginner guns. they look like expensive guns but are cheap and not junk! you could get a 1911 in .45 or the sig copy in .40 or a CZ copy in .40. then if you don't like it you can sell it and not loose to much money or if you like it allot then you could upgrade to something like the para ord-P16.

the thing that I have found after shooting lots of handguns is choose one you really like the looks of and how it feels. don't go off of what other people say or tell you to get. you know what you like best not them.
as for my advice in what I would personally get for a shooter that I am going to use allot id get a glock 17 9mm all the way.

hope this helps. any more q's just ask. post a pic of your first gun once you get it!

Given you were just asking about the cz too, you'll want handle a few and see what feels good. you'll have to join the club before getting the pistol anyway so you'll be able to try a few during orientation, not to mention when you are tested for your rpal.

haha, what is the "best handgun for shooting?" that varies greatly from one person to the next, and also what kind of shooting you are plannning on doing. What feels nice in my hand, may not in yours.
I like revolvers a lot, single and double action for fun shooting, accuracy, and long range (for pistols), surplus Tokarevs are super fun and economical for going to the range and burning off lots of ammo, 1911 pistols are really fun, fit my hand great and get super groupings, and a modern 9mm is just the thing for a lot of competitive shoot formats, plus ammo is cheap for them.
