Semi auto in .17hmr

My buddy is looking for a semi auto in 17 hmr. All I can find is the 597. Are there any other semis in this caliber?

i think the 597 has been stopped in 17hmr. too many of them blowing up!!!!

i dont think a 17hmr should be set up as a semi like a rimfire .22, its too high pressure and seems to cause a lot of dangerous problems. they should make it more like a centre fire semi with a gas blow back or similar..

Magnum Research makes a .17 HMR semi auto rifle....I would venture a guess that these should feed reliably considering their other products.
