Does Ruger make a rancher in .223? I know they do the 10/22 and the .44 rancher, but i thought they did a .223 as well.

A ruger mini-14 ranch rifle is your only real option. They are commonly available and relatively inexpensive compared to a Valmet hunter or something. I have a mini-14 in .223 and its a nice little rifle.

I don't know, I think the mini-14 ranch in wood with blued metal looks pretty cool. Maybe it's just me....
