Hey Guys

Quick question. I have always had pump shotguns and have now purchased a semi. I bought a Baikal 153, thought it would be an affordable try for a semi.
What should I use for cleaning and lubrication products? I often go waterfowl hunting so she's going to see dirty weather conditions. Also, is there opinions on proper break in procedures?

Thanks for any input.

For cleaning the action I use G96 Gun Treatment cleans lubricates & protects, it also cleans the shotgun bore quite nicely.
For cleaning the bore of my rifles I use C-10 to remove copper, then G96.
For lubricating all my semi's I use Tech 2000 0W30 synthetic oil from wallymart, it never freezes up.
No break-in proceedures for shotguns, that I know of.

I used a fully synthetic motor oil for all my guns. awesome cold weather protection and lubrication and FAR cheaper then "gun" oils.

for semi auto actions I like a dry teflon spray :)

I am not worried about the cost of oils and lubricants because a little goes a long way. Breakfree and G-96 just about does it all for me. Either or! I use both like a solvent and remove most of the product and shoot my action as dry as I can. There will be enough left without attracting powder residue to make gunk. If during shooting I ever think that my action is running a bit slow, I spray it in and run it wet til I finish the round and later I do a thorough cleaning. I actually carry a can of either or to aid other shooters who run into trouble.

Mount Sweetness,
Where did you get your breakfree? In this area it is not available! Too many hoops to jump through top get it imported. Lucky I stocked up and bought 5 big cans.
