Semi-Auto neck sizing and/or neck turning

I realise that FL sizing is the standard for semi-rifles. Does anybody neck size for these?

What about neck turning?

Looking to imrprove consistency and groups in my M14/M1A

Not the type of rifle you want to neck size for.

What have you done so far to the rifle?

I would say you are wasting your time neck turning for an M14/M1A. It will not turn a 3 MOA rifle into a 1/2 MOA rifle by neck turning. Neck sizing works in bolt rifles but after 4-5 loading you still need to FL resize to bump the shoulder back. With a semi I always found things work better when the brass is FL resized.

So far I have just painted it and added a sling and bipod.

Here are my planned upgrades to do this summer.

Criterion 22" GI-contour Chrome-lined barrel with a finished chamber.
Springfield USGI Op Rod
Springfield USGI Bolt
Boyds M1A wooden stock
Smith M21 Scope Mount
National Match rear and front sight
Smith Muzzle Brake
Rifle will be bedded in the new stock, barrel indexed, Headspace adjusted, gas port indexed, and I have a leather cheek piece and sling to go on it.
