Semi-Auto shotguns.

Something with an aluminum receiver, pistol grip and short barrel (18.5"~20") is what you want.

I've owned the following, all were great although the M2 didn't cycle light stuff initially:
Mossberg 930, Fabarm SAT-8 or Benelli M2

I was actually looking at the Fabarm SAT-8 today, but it's a bit out of my range of price. The Mossberg is nice ....I'd like to find one in town to get a feel in my hand. Thanks for the recs.

Just bought a Hatsan MP-A. Took it out to the range last week and and ran 000, 71/2 and 4 through it with no issues. Love the gun. Waiting till my range builds a trap shoot range in the spring. $429.00 through SFRC and they have stock!!!

Hatsan MP-A from SFRC +1

:bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: - this looks really nice and I love the price-point! How is the weight of it?

I was going to suggest a Bennelli semi-auto, but I think those are out of your price range too. My wife and I have the super sport in a 20ga and it has a very light recoil and if very fast cyling. I'm not sure if Recoil is an issue with your physical disability or not but I think it would be difficult to shoot quick successive shots withwout a good grip on the forestock, and now that I'm thinking about it could you let me know if it is I'm currious. Thanks

I am not too concerned with recoil. I'm a decent shot without a foregrip, or without a sling to grab onto....it just takes me a lot longer to rack and cycle the shots. So this is more of a preference than anything. I've shot a Mossberg 500, an 88 Maverick and my friends hunting shotgun with no problems at all. I'd like something semi-auto so I don't have to change hands to shoot - which is what I do now. I'm missing my right hand, so I hold the gun stock with my left, with my right hand on the forestock - fire, then swap hands so I can use my left to rack the next shot. It's a bit of a process. With something A) Tactical and B) semi-auto - I can get a better grip with a vertical foregrip, and not have to switch hands to cycle the shot. I have a wrist on my right side, so I can get a great 'pull' grip towards me, which, when the stock is in my shoulder will give me a solid foundation to shoot with.
