Semi-automatics chambered in 6.5cm ?

Hi there,

With all the gun bans it's difficult to keep track of what is available and what is not.

I'm wondering, can you buy a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 6.5cm in Canada?

I don't see any ban at that level of generality, but maybe every single model has been specifically banned without there being a general ban.

Checking armalytics.ca, and filtering for semi automatic and 6.5 creedmoor, it shows 51 models all prohibited....

Armaguerra 6.5 Italian
Krieghoff 6.5x57
Sjogren 6.5x55
Voere 2185 6.5x55

All super rare it seems.

I updated it with some other 6.5s i found on the site. All super rare or pricey.

You maybe able to have a gunsmith somehow make you one on a BAR, Benelli or other action. But would require tuning the gas system as well. Won't be cheap.

The BAR comes in .243 and .270 which would be pretty close.
