Looking for something with a big bang to change things up from all my 9mm's. Who has these for sale ?

I know there was a Desert eagle and a GLOCK but are there any others ?

Isn't the Coonan back in production?

If one of those 9's is a 1911, you could convert it easily enough to 38 super, which is not quite up to 357 per formance, but is a step over the 9mm/38 special class.

A relatively cheap "big bang" gun is a Ruger Blackhawk or super Blackhawk revolver chambered in either .357Mag or .44Mag. They are single action revolvers so you don't get to shoot them in semi auto mode. But the guns are a darn sight cheaper than the Coonans or Desert Eagles.

And either of these will give you a good kick when loaded up with full house rounds.

I believe the OP was looking for a Semi-Auto in 357 Auto Mag specifically.
I'm not sure how popular these cartridges/guns ever became, as the recoil from such rounds would be unpleasant in a semi auto action.

Um. My interpretation of this thread was that you wanted to step UP from 9mm. Not sidestep to a "9mil mini magnum". Go 10mm auto if the automatic thing makes your bum hum, if not buy a big wheel gun in .454 Casull. Or why not a 460 s&w magnum XVR. She'll shoot .45 colt for those days you don't want an inferno (loaded down of course), .454 Casull for when ya really want her to go bang, and the 460 S&W magnum for when you want to have pants wetting fun over and over again! Just my 2 cents but hey, this is a discussion, right? Lol. Good luck with the search!
