Semi in .22 WMR

I had a cz512 in the 22 wmr. It was great and very accurate until the barrel fell out of the receiver, the one day I was out firing it at the range. Apparently the barrels are interchangeable so if you have one keep an eye on the indexing take down screw to make sure it doesnt come loose.

I believe Volquartsen also makes one. I think their new take down series has the ability to swap caliber barrels as well.

I have used a few of the magnum research rifles, but only in 22 LR. Very nice and accurate rifles. Those ones at Prophet are only 22lr and NOT wmr.

They do make the 22WMR, and you might be able to find one in Canada if you looked. I wouldn't hesitate on MR rifles, but for me the VQ would be a hard one to beat if I was in the market for one. Just a hefty price is all.

Sylvesters also carried VQ rifles.
The VQ looks nice but it's approaching 4k with tax and a couple extra mags! Yikes!

I have barely owned mine a year and both were around $2300. 15 round mags are $40-50. If you need the absolute most expensive one they make I guess, maybe. With CAD so low lately a guy might be better off looking for used.

I have a HK300. I don’t shoot it a lot so was thinking of selling it. Then I took it to the range with my son. He said “Dad, what are you thinking, you can never sell this gun!”, he was right, ha

Do you have one? Interested in one. I have a cz 512 Tactical for now.
I've owned 2 Remington 597, a Brno 611 , Ruger 1022, and Magnum Research semi 22wmr.

As well as a Brno 617 and a Savage semi 17 hmr.
As well as many bolt action 22wmr.

currently own a CZ 612 and Ruger American Stainless HB in 22wmr

I still want to get a Keltec CMR30 and PMR30. Just because.
The problem, aside from the bans, is that they're pricey for what they are.
But still, one day...

I’m surprised the H&R 700 hasn’t been mentioned. I haven’t shot mine a lot but it is decently accurate and reliable so far. Apparently it is similar to the Reising .45 submachine gun. Nice quality gun but the trigger pull is very heavy and long…

Did you import them or is there someone in Canada who sells them?

What options are there for a semi in .22 WMR?

Thanks

My go to for the bush, is that K-Tel, short barrelled thingy. It's short and tight. It's probably on the #### list. I don't pay attention.
Savage had an Axis is .22WMR
I didn't know Ruger made one in semi anymore. Cool
Lots of options, depends on the config and what you want to spend
I have 4 10/22's dressed in varied configurations. I assume the same could be done for a 10/22 in WMR. Regardless, Ruger would be my choice in WMR

The Volquartsen is beautiful, built like a tank and superbly accurate in 22LR, 17HMR AND 22WMR….Sylvester Sports, Alberta, 6 month wait for a custom order and $2300.00 out the door depending on options.

Tanfoglio Appeal was available in 22WMR at some point. Bullpup, very compact, well made, but pricey. I wish I bought one. I have one in 22LR, though, and I like it.
Prohibited at the moment, by the latest "ban".
