I am contemplating the purchase of this Pro forces shotgun.
Also I am looking at the 18" version with the rail and ghost ring sights, the pistol grip stock and pump action.
Seeking input from anyone who may have used this shotgun, pro's or con's. Or even arguments in favour of another version.

Thanks.

My 2 cents opinion says that the whole shotgun seems weak. It look freaking good, but it lacks the ruggedness of the 870P. Aslo, one guy who works at my club was saying that owners (at my club) were experience more than their share of jamming. I almost bought one, but when I look at the beating that our 870P are taking (in my dept.), I don't think I would choose the Fabarm as a service weapon. It simply wouldn't last the run. Many users are also remouving the spring for the "foward assist". But, if your heart tells you and convince you that you need a Fabarm (especially the 14 incher), go ahead. Can't fight the feelings for long...!

The only thing I would argue for is a 14in Fabarm instead of an 18in model - love the Pro Forces upgrade package though. I would have trouble choosing between a 14in Fabarm Pro Forces and my current project, a 12.5in 870 in a Hogue reduced LOP stock set.

A friend of mine while waiting for his PAL asked me to buy a 14 inch Fabarm from a CGN. So far I've been really impressed. I did have some failures to fire but I found out it was an ammo prob, not the gun. I like them.
