I have a Rem M700 BDL
.308
24" heavy bbl
Matt black bbl, action & bolt.
Red adjustment screws on trigger

I was told that it is a First Gen. Sendero.

How can one tell?

The .308 ( short action Sendero ) that is in fact a VS-SF for Varmint Synthetic Stainless Fluted , it's got the same stock that the real Sendero ( long action ) has his made by HS Precision wich is black with some silver webbing and a fluted bull barrel. Hope this help.

He is probably reffering to it as being a hinge floor plate..BDL..

To answer your question OP..no its not a Sendero.

Currently, The Sendaro is available in several calibers other than the the 7stw, and 7 SAUM. It's also available in the 300 win mag, 7mm Rem Mag, plus the 7mm and 300 ultra mags.

These guys are messing around..... they know.. Ben was teasing me AGAIN..also 25-06, 264 win..they also did a 270 win...I am long time collector of Senderos..and the only Sendero SA was the 7mm SAUM.
