I bought my first Remington centerfire a couple weeks ago. it is the new Sendero SF II model in 300 Winchester. I took it to the range today, with a box of the Winchester 180 gr shells from Walmart. I just bought the cheap one's to break in the barrel. Well after getting it on the paper at 100 and broken in I tried a couple, three shot groups. Both groups were under 1/2" and nice clover leafs. My target was a piece of paper with a colored thumbtack in the center. On my second group out of the cold barrel again, my first shot drove the tack through the target!!! I love this gun!!!
I have heard about guys having QC issues with some of the new Remington's, but I can tell you they did it right with the new Sendero!! This very well could be a 1/4" gun with handloads!

i have owned two different ones and both shot excellent, once you start to load it up to utilize that 26" pipe the groups do start to open up, but are still quite good. if you bed the chamber area ( 2-3 ") of the barrel channel it seems to help settle it down with max power loads

I just got a new one of the previous model. I prefer the grip. Same story accuracy wise. I used up some odds and ends in powder and bullets. Don't have the dies yet so I seated bullets in new unsized brass using wthby dies.

Can't wait to try some accuracy loads.

I am going try the 200 Accubonds with RL-22, hoping to get 2900-3000 with heavy loads. Next will be the 180 TSX, looking to get around 3050-3100. Should hit plenty hard for big island black bears this spring!!

My rifle started it's life as a Sendero as well (a bit older than yours though). And funny enough it would should 1/2 MOA groups with good old Wal Mart bought Winchester 180 grain Power Points. Great rifle, even better now.

Congrats,

John
