Sending parts from US to Canada

I am interested in getting spares for my HK so I checked with HK PARTS dot NET and they have all I need, sad part is, they will not ship North.
This is common for certain companies, they do not ship anything at all, except for Brownells, they ship different things as long the total does not go over $100 in parts.

why is it that Brownells can do that, while HKPARTS cannot? this is beyond my area of expertise.

All the parts I need are little springs, TRS, firing pin block springs, little parts that if I order 2 of each I might be close to $100, not even over $70.

My question is, (note:I am not trying to offend anyone or breaking any laws, I want to follow the rules while exercising my rights too)

Could I have someone in the States buying this for me, and then, ship it to me here in Canada?
Like it was mentioned before, the total would not be over $100 and according to Brownells website, this is what Brownells says about importing:

Part 1: General Information, International

There are a number of items which Brownells sells which need US State Department approval and an export license before they can be shipped out of the country. The regulations are complex and constantly changing but our staff is here to help you understand what is needed and will gladly work with you to correctly accomplish the task.

Generally speaking, items which usually need a license are:

Frames
Receivers
Barrels
Barrel Liners
Various other gun parts such as triggers, sears, ejectors, magazine tubes, scopes, and other items if the ordered amount is over $100.00 US.

Also, for instance, once you put a GLOCK spring in Brownells cart, this is what you see (see the notes in the 'restrictions box')

I am confused and seems to me that gun laws are as usual, vague. Anyone with experience on this?

Thanks.

That is great, although it seems that the information on Brownells website is not updated as of today.
Also, Brownells does not have HK parts....

It's the US export laws that are the problem. Many controlled items must go through a licensed exporter and the license fee is high... so many businesses don't bother spending thousands on fees to sell $100 in parts...

H&Kparts.net used to ship north (I've ordered things for my SL8 and USC), but the shipping was ridiculous. As a result, I stopped using them. I didn't realize they completely shut down the shipping north thing though. Blaxsun used to help me out but I haven't seen him on here in a long time....

This^^^^^Brownell's willing to get the proper paperwork in place to be able to ship parts to Canada.

He's still here, he was just on here today.

I am curious about who Blaxsun is? I would like to order these parts and if he can be of help I'd like to know how to contact him if possible.
Thank you.

The manufacturer AND the exporting retailer of the gun parts must be registered with USDOS in order to export under $100 ($500). HK is registered, HK Parts is not. There's no easy way around this, and it's one reason I sold my HK - without shooting it. You might want to try HK's official importer - RNichols/FN Sports, but be ready for them to be next to useless (they always have been in the past). A possible other route you might want to explore is ordering parts from Europe, there's less problem importing from Europe, believe it or not.

Thank you,
email to R Nichols sent, lets see if/when they respond.
I really like the HK and I am not giving up on it due to parts being hard to get. It is a solid platform IMHO.

Avenida, I think too that IRUNGUNS can get parts for you. Check the site for IRUNGUNS.ca. Or you can PM Jason at "IRUNGUNS" on CGN.

Thanks, he was the first one I contacted and informed me that they cannot bring parts.
Too bad!
My only option is Nichols or wolverine here in canada.
