Sorry Claven, you're screwed in that department. You're a mosin collector. :runaway:

Welcome to the club! :dancingbanana:

hi Klunk,

Well, that certainly looks like a Hohenzollern eagle on the recceiver flat. I would argue if it is indeed German, and not romanian or something - it's a-typical. the Deutches Reich cartouche is by far the most commonly encountered marking on German captures. 3.K.98 looks like a Naval unit marking to me, so possibly Kiel. the German Navy was one of the largest recipients of Bundesgewehr M91's. (ie, German capture M1891's).

Yeah, I know. I figure once you break past a dozen or so milsurps of any given type, you're collecting them for sure.

Hey - you stole Jay-Z's Enfield!

And that's a Savage NO.4, not a MkIV. And you have the sling on it all wrong. It's not supposed to have a stacking swivel. No.4's don't have them. ;)

x2 for a Romanian. It was either imported before they turned around in October or as a war supply before WWII (less likely) for the Regal Guard.

This little beauty is now on the way to me! ;) It's a rare aluminum Finnish M24 muzzle protector :) You don't see these every day. This one is Civil guar marked (=S=) and not SA marked :) Will go great on my SIG M24 which will appear in August Purchases...

Wasn;t cheap either - stupid e-pay.
