**September Purchases**

Heres my latest, its a K43 code qve45, its a vopo.
(Its the one with a magazine in it)

depending on parts availability, and my ability to scrounge said parts, I have a third k43, but I wont post that one till its complete.

Corbon Ammo 9mm and .357
some NIW Galil Orlite magsx3..(galil is just for showing off:ninja:)
Some Federal Primers (can never have too many of those)
a near new Bianchi Holster for 20 bucks(can't beat that)
and a very nice shape Vz52

Here's a couple new acquisitions this month. Firstly a really nice M24/47 Mauser I picked up from a fellow CGN'er (thanks A!) who had bought two when they were still available. One was a "special" priced rifle with mismatched parts which he shot, while this one wa a matching more collectable one which was left in the cosmolene for all this time till I cleaned it last week when I talked him out of it ;)

Second is a Yugo M1924 bayonet, which os the correct bayonet for M1924's and M24/47's. The shorter M24/48 bayos are really only for the M48 series rifles ;)

Also added some pics of the cosmolene nightmare I was dealing with...

I'm not sure if it qualifies as a purchase, pe se, but I got this great looking, non-matching us rifle 1917, for free. :dancingbanana: Well, the catch is that I had to participate in the EOHC fall milshoot. ;) Now, if anyone could point me in the right direction as to where I can get more info on these guns, it would be greatly appreciated. I have been on milsurps.com, but I want the whole ball of wax. Thanks,

It seems like a surprisingly well made piece. I can't wait to get some ammo and try her out!

The barrel has been counterbored - is this normal for these rifles?
 
I don't really know much about these Swedes. The bore is bright and sharp. Picked it up for $100, how'd I do?

Yes, they all were from the factory (to protect against foolish cleaning)

I just sold one that looked surprisingly like that, gonna miss it for now...until something else fills the void! We should have a monthly post for de-acquisitions too :D
