series 80 trigger job

Has anyone ever got an trigger job on a Colt series 80 that equaled a series 70's trigger job? I've read that it's not a problem for a good smith but
I'd like to know first hand if any of you have.

Yes, but all those extra and essentially useless parts make it a lengthier process.

I have a Series 80 stainless Gold Cup on which a local 'smith did a trigger job. Feels about as good as any Series 70 trigger I've ever felt- 3 pound pull, no creep, no grit.

Many of the better smiths will just make their own. It's just a shim.
