Doesn't quite work like that...

You might want to look into photo bucket or something like that. You need to upload your pictures to a host...

I was debating between Kimber and Colt. I did hear of some Kimber problems but this thread is rather surprising to me.. I bought a Colt combat btw, but not because of any of this.. just liked it better.

If Kimber is using MIM barrel bushings, I'd imagine that it would get replaced under warranty with another, identical MIM bushing. I don't know what the turnaround is for Kimber warranty service, but it can't be quicker than Brownells shipping. I'd just replace with with an Ed Brown or Wilson drop-in bushing and call it a lesson learned.

I suspect that since Korth is now handling Kimber, your warranty experience will be fast and satisfactory in every way.

I own a warrior and have put 15000 rounds thorugh it without a hicup. I am sad to hear that your warrior failed, have faith and let them fix it and then see where that takes you. I guess any mechanical device can fail and that shows it.

Posts like this stopped me from buying a Pro-Carry from P&D. Why is technology going in reverse when it comes to guns???
And I don't buy the "All guns fail so suck it up" speech.

Well, they all do. Doesn't matter what make or model. Some just break faster or more often then others. That's what the warranty is for on new guns. If they didn't break the factories wouldn't need to offer them, now would they? - dan

1911's do have a little higher failure rate then polymer but hey i still love the feeling of metal even though its not always a logical choice.
