1 Service CQB is FUN!
2 Lots of cool black rifles showed up
3 I am going to have to change my name, too many guys named Steve on the range ;) :D
4 TimK forgot his abacus....
5 Men and woman, young and old showed up which is great
5 I will definately be there for the October match!
6 Service CQB is fun!

How does one get to go to one of these? This looks like too much fun.

I have a Black Rifle.

I have a Black Handgun.

I have a Black Badge.

Just got home from this. What a great day. Perfect weather. Couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people.

I can't wait for the next one.

I'll get my pictures up ASAP.

Big thanks have to go to many people involved:

* TimK for his sage guidance (ya right .... :D)
* SS109 for generously volunteering his time to act as a Safety Officer on the line
* All my target prep dudes like Rifledude and Valmet 72 and Roberti11
* All the competitors for a fast range teardown and smooth marchoff from Range Control
* All the parents who brought their teen shooters and supported them (Alex93d & dudley212)
* All the people who laughed at my jokes (no , I'm just kidding)
* All the competitors who helped the matches run smoothly, you dudes are GOLD

* I cannot forget the ELCAN shooters... they took 1st and 2nd place! Good going!

Without the participation, nothing much would happen among this great community!

Hey, were there any Larue or Noveske or Colt shooters today? Cancer tells me he shot with his Colt... way cool!

:nest:

Barney

Alex. you look a lot more comfortable without the gasmask this time!:p

Greetings everyone, me and TBloggins missed out but were there in spirit.
It looked like a beautiful day and a lot of fun,,, again.

I was also there for a few hours to observe, it sure looks like allot of fun to participate and now I am looking for a holster and a mag pouches, maybe I can shoot next time...:)

I took some video I will see if I can figure out how to post it....:)

Just a really great day. Thanks to Hungry and TimK for once again running a very smooth and fun competition  The weather couldn't have been any better although with the lack of rain in the last 3 weeks, we were eating dust all the time. 10 Rifles and pistols blasting at the same time (more or less) kicked up a lot of dust from the backstop. Lots of great guys and gals to shoot with as well. Congrats to my partner Plink who took second place overall  For an old fart, I didn't do too badly either  although I have to practice my pistol shooting more :(.

heres some pics of cancer and i. Considering it was my first time out and i had some issues with mags and my sling and used a handgun i had never shot before i was happy with how i did. Btw what did you guys say to my mom because a woman who this morning would have crucified me for buying a handgun is now considering a 9mm as a b day gift:eek:. And hungry thanks again for the holster its now firmly zip tied to my chest rig. Also cancer thanks once again for letting me use your handgun and for all the help and reminders.

first off its the infamous DUCT TAPE DUO!!!!!!! :p :D

OK, first of all, thanks to TimK and Hungry for running their usual tight ship. :) Nothing like having a shooting match that isn't all about f**king the football!!

Always so impressed to go to these matches and meet the same calibre of people every time... Helpful, fun, enjoying a good day out in the sun with like minds, heck, even families.. !! :) Gotta love that Quebec contingent!! (They even brought a dog which makes them even more "special" to me.. :D )

Hmm, not a single gang banger came out to keep up his skills, go figure.. LOL

Lots of good black rifle and pistol fun to be had by all, and I love to see the young guys and new shooters coming out. Nothing like that big s**t eatin' grin on a guys face when he goes "YEAH! I got of all my rounds off this time, and hell, I even scored over 120 for this match!!.. AND, I'm shooting a Norinco M4!!!" :D :D

Everyone is sorting their kit out, making it work, learning, and having a blast doing it. As my partner, RifleDude said today.. "It's the most fun you can have without taking your clothes off" :D :D

All I can say is, in the words of Oliver Twist... I'd like some MORE PLEASE! :D

USP Distances are all 30 metres and in. Snap, rapids, transitions, pistol... etc.... wont' get into details ;)

Wow I didnt even know you could do this kind of event. This look like ALOT of fun.
Make me feel like I live in a different country :(

One thing is sure I will never be part of it as long as I stay in Quebec
