Just unloading my vehicle and the relevant stores from the CQB2 Match at Langemark Range Bay3. What a great day for a SCQB match! Great times, fantastic people.... super jokes all around! :D

Some of you have pics and videos to post.... Let's see them here! :ninja:

I'm leaving room in this post to accommodate the results. I just emailed them to the fearless leader! Should get them back tonight all formatted and good to go, unless he has gone to bed from the residual effects of the flu!

Awesome event as usual. Good fun appeared to be had by all. Certainly was by me. What was that bright round thing in the clear blue sky anyway.

It is clear that I need to brush up on two major areas

Metal - know the course of fire for the match, count your rounds, put the right number on each target

Pistol - hitting a 6 inch target at 25 yards is not hard. WTF can't I do it? Practice baby, practice (me, not any of my competitors :D)

Fantastic day spent at the range, in a fun and challenging match, with a great bunch of competitors and organizers.

Nice going fellas! Wish I made it to this one. It's so addicting! I have been practicing the walking and shooting in my gun room. I can keep my red dot on my Jack Russell's balls for 12 steps! :p See you in June!

I am always amazed at how many mental errors I make. Twice I started to shoot the wrong course of fire...

I think the heads of my targets had Force Field protection....

Much thanks to the Dynamic Duo for yet another well run shoot in great weather.

It was sunny, dry and warm and I got to spend a day with a good bunch of people. Hard to ask for more than that.

What a great day...couldn't have asked for better weather. Just editing the helmet cam video now...there was over an hour of footage so it'll take awhile to sift through.

I was the most surprised out of everyone when I was called for 3rd place!!!

You do realize that I can fail you at the IDPA NSO course this Saturday? :D

Hey, most dogs would take that as a compliment...

Well there's your problem!!^^^
Looks like I need to come out and do a refresher on how to grip your pistol...
I really need to get out to one of these matches soon, looks like y'all are having a blast!

Hey wherermykeys....

Nice mag changes. It's evident that you took my advice about practicing in front of a mirror (maybe with a stopwatch) at home! :D Good job!

Glad that you have a sense of humour re: simple mistakes made under stress. All good learning. Thanks for sharing them in a public forum. Many people will go to school on this one!

I appreciate the great video! Now the rest of you mirror kommandos; come on out and work that black rifle! :ninja:

Cheers,
Barney

That is not me. I took the picture. The shooter missed your clnic, and I will speak to him about the left hand grip.

If he had been shooting with his thumb stuck out like that I thnk I would have noticed. I will check the video i shot of him. I suspect it was a repositioning of his grip move or something.
