Shooters,
We are offering Service Pistol style matches as laid out in the National Service Conditions Championship matches by the DCRA at Guelph again this summer. Last years thread. In effect this is a bullseye contest, every one has the same targets, ammount of time, and ammount of shots. Acuracey is the determining factor for score.
As the COVID restrictions ease we can accomodate more participants per match, register and wait list now as people drop out, or restrictions ease wiatlsited people will move up the list.

You must be familiar with the match procedures, rules, and course of fire as detailed in the National Service Conditions Championship Rulebook and Course of Fire Booklet

This event may make use of slight modifications to the rules, targets, etc, to fit with in the confines of the range the event will take place at. These include;
-The targets shall be IDPA style with an additional 4" VBull scoring zone
-Match 26 will be six 6 second exposures
-Match 40 shall use the 4" vbull

The event will consist of Series A matches only.
The matches to be shoot will be 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26. If time allows matches 28 and 40 may be included.

Each squad will shoot in 2 relays of relay. The shooting order will be
Relay 1 Shooting
Relay 2 Scoring/preparing to shoot

The squads are allocated 90 minutes to complete all the matches, this should be sufficient time to complete all matches above including 28, and 40. Squad 1 shall arrive for set up at 830. Sqaud 5 shall clean up the range at the end of the day.
All squads shall pick up their brass.

Timings:
Setup 0830 to 0900
Squad 1 0900 to 1030
Squad 2 1030 to 1200
Squad 3 1200 to 1300
Squad 4 1330 to 1500
Squad 5 1600 to 1630
Clean up 1630 to 1700

Match fee:
$20 EMT Per GRGC rules 50% of the gross match fee goes to the.club. The remaining 50% covers the operating costs of the match.

Equipment
  • Eye and Ear protection
  • Pistol and at least 4 magazines
  • Holsters shall be made of rigid material and manufactured specifically for the pistol being used. Holsters shall have at least one level of retention.You hall be qualifed to use the holster
  • 170+ rounds of ammunition

Thanks for a another great match! More people need to try it - it's a fantastic way to track your progress over the season and the years. Looking forward to August!
 
Another great match and thank you for hosting all of these great pistol shoots!

If anyone is thinking about trying out one of dink27’s matches my advice is to get out and shoot as many as you can, they are very well run and extremely fun matches with some of the best people you can share a range with.
