I think it's about time we do it over here!

Anybody on this forum has good contacts over the CoC or on base personal to make this happen?

They finally open this club lately in Val ( http://ctrval.########.ca/p/inscription.html ) and it's a great thing. But now I think we need to organize some CQB/SR events.


Just saying. We need stuff like this here. Borden is way too far for me and not much is happening at Connaught ranges anymore other then military only events.


Any ideas? Comments?

Si tu attends après une personne pour l'organiser, tu risques d'attendre longtemps. Je peux te donner le contact de la personne en charge de ce club et je suis certain qu'il pourra t'assister à l'organiser mais ça te prend un plan et des gens qui voudrons embarquer avec toi sinon cela est mission impossible.

J'ai fait un SR et un CQB à date et la seule raison pourquoi je n'y participe plus c'est à cause de l'attitude désagréable de la personne en charge. Et je ne parles pas de Hungry. Si tu as de l'expérience et de l'organisation, tu es capable de monter un petit match comme test et partir de la selon l'intérêt. Mais dit toi qu'à la base, ça prend une journée pour monter un match et une journée pour le tirer et le démonter.

As for Antoine22 below I can say that was a one-time indecent as it was a terrible weekend weather wise etc...
The last two years all the matches in Ottawa have ran smoothly and without any complaints.
