Service Rifle Optics (From 1945 to Modern)

Been shooting a 6500 1 1/4 - 8. This scope has a long eye relief, so it needs to be set foreward. Picked up a PEPR sitting on the clearout table in a shop; this does set the scope nicely foreward. Also has a set of top caps with dovetails, so someting else can be mounted above the scope for kewlness.
A friend also bought one of these 6500s, he is using a GG&G mount to get the necessary eye relief.
The only real downside I've noticed with the Millet are the adjustment knobs. More like a hunting scope than one intended to be frequently adjusted for range and windage.
