Hi All, I just received my extended rail and AR stock adapter in the mail.

+1 for Josh at Stormwerkz - fit and finish is awesome, not to mention the service and prompt delivery.

credit given where credit is due, anyone thinking of getting the extended rail from Stormwerkz should do it, adds a whole new attitude to my 180B.

I am now shopping for AR stocks that will fit the Type 2 adapter - Any of you who may have an old AR collapsible around... msg me.

Next on the list is scope mounts and maybe a go at the marstar optics. then I will mess with the handguards.

Any of you try the marstar/leapers on your AR? how long did they last? did they hold zero?

(I'll post some pics when my masterpiece 180 is completed 8) )

No if only my custom stock adapter would come! :lol:
 
How high does the Stormwerks rail sit off the upper ? I currently have an Elcan mounted on the AR see-though rail and it sits a bit to high for my liking. It looks like the stormwerks rail will lower the sight by about ½”. Am I correct ? if so I’m getting one.
 
unless your AR (15 I am guessing?) has a QD dove tail you're probably SOL.

The stormwerlz rail is designed specifically for an AR-180B or orig 180..

IMO, the rail from Wolverine is ugly. Poo ass ugly.

Get the Storm Werkz rail, you won't regret it. In fact, if you don't like the rail, I will personally refund your money even though I have nothing to do with Storm Werkz (other than being a satisfied customer, or course).
 
FWIW, I like the POF mod you did on your 180B MUCH better than just a rail. Also, with that setup, it would look WAY COOLER if you had flip-up BUIS installed (hint-hint!)
 
I got one of those rails for my ar-180b, not the extended one, just the regular one

it is a great addon to any 180b and is very high quality, josh @ stormwerkz does great work!

i have a couple pics of my 180b in progress, there is no stock because i am waiting for my type2 stock adaptor from StormWerkz to arrive, but have already prepared the rifle for it to be bolted on

Also if anyone is wondering what Holosight is on this rifle, it is a Cobra Russian Military Holosight, that is very affordable, i beleive mine was approx $234 CDN shipped new from Texes, and no gst or duties when it arrived to me in canada :D

the rail and foregrip are from airsoft ebay items, cheap but decent quality, they feel very solid on the rifle

You're more than welcome to send me one. I intended to add flip up front and rear sites years ago but the money was just never there, always deffered it to other projects. The Eotech works fine.
 
I'm getting the ACE side folder for the 180B and am trying to figure out the difference between the ACE adapter and Stormwerkz adapter. I've checked both out on their websites but don't see a big difference. Whats the advantage of the Stormwerkz over the ACE? Any advice is appreciated!
