Sestroryetsk M91 Search

Hello,

I am looking to someday buy a Sestroryetsk marked Mosin Nagant, any model or type, from a fellow CGN'er or otherwise someday in the future, probably sooner than later. So. Who owns them, are they really rare and what can I expect to pay for one in any condition? If you have one you'd like to let go someday to a young Mosin collector, let me know!

I have a 1907 but it's not for sale.

These were marked VERY nicely, by the way, EXTREMELY ornate script, Romanov eagles, H2 (Nicholas II) monograms, all the rest. Mine is a Finn rifle, has the spliced woodwork, hates Bolsheviks. I have to keep it on a leash!

IMPERATOR'SKI SESTRORYET'SKI ORUZHEINIYA ZAVOD 1907G. All in a pretty arch formation, too.

Good luck in your quest. There are a few around and they likely aren't terribly expensive. Most folks just don't appreciate the finer things in life, it seems!

My Finn M91 has a Sestroryetsk 1905 receiver, does that count to be in the club ?

Are Sestroryetsk M91s considered rare? Does anybody know? On the 7.62x54r list I think they are only a 5 or 6

I have not seen any pre 1900 Sestroyetsk rifles,but I have a few pre 1900 M91's including a 1894 MFG Chatterault M91
