I set up my new Pelican 1200 case for my Girsan. Fits great. I'm a huge fan of pelican cases.

Pelican's are great, I have a 1200 and an 1150 set up with an upper and lower layer. 4 mags and mag loader and mag holder on the bottom, a dividing layer of dense foam and my pistol with a trigger lock on the top. It all fits and closes snugly.

I also use a pelican case for my archery equipment and I've flow to the US for competitions without issue. It's the only case I'll fly with now after my SKB was destroyed.

Nice job. I'm a sucker for Pelican cases. Got about 6 small to jumbo size Pelican cases, mostly storing photo studio gear. Only drawback to the small cases is that I never only take one handgun to the range.

I've flown with a pelican case before for archery competitions. You just need TSA locks for non-firearms. Most airlines publish a maximum size limits before they charge you extra.

I found a guy selling some of these 1200 and 1400 pelicans. They where well used but not damaged so I grabbed a few at 15 bucks each. They make really nice little sturdy cases. I Grabbed some foam and made some cutouts. I put velcro on the top egg shell foam so I can peel it off and keep documents in there. Other than being bright orange it's perfect for my G17.
