setting headspace on 10-22

That a very interesting chamber....do they uses a Deburring tool on all there chamber...”looks like someone shut a Princess Auto , drill mounted deburring bit down the barrel...only fix , would be a set back and rechamber....$800.00 barrel?.... I would be very upset. And just think...they shipped it ! That way...

that is what they did for me. how it got past CC is there mix up. all that matters to me is in the end they looked after me in a pro manner
 
You know a truly good company not just by their products, but by how they handle their customers. Glad to hear everything has worked out for the OP.

the bolt has been machined to make a perfect headspace now.
 
I'm guessing that what we are seeing here is not excess headspace, which is measured in the bolt face, but a chamber throat that is keeping the cartridges from seating fully into the chamber. These will fire, often bursting the cartridge case, and leaving the bullet in the barrel, even tho the action cycles and ejects the cartridge case. Don't ask how I know this....

Chris, you should read all the posts in this thread... he had a problem with the chamber being chamfered too much and headspace within the bolt itself. Both things have been corrected. It never did have a problem with the 'throat' of the chamber.

It's all solved...
