This rifle was offered on EE for what seemed like a good price. Unfired.
It will get my usual mods. A Rock River Match trigger, a float tube and some kind of optical sight.
I saw a Bushnell scope offered on Ebay for only $110. It is a AR 3-9 40mm scope with 3 knobs. The third is for parallax, down to 10 yards.
For CQB, it would be nice to set it to 20 yards and leave it alone.
The elevation knob makes it easy to zero for various distances and note the setting. I set this one to "0" at 100 yards. 200 is only +1. 300 is 5 minutes and 25 yards is 7 minutes.
3X is about right for CQB. 9X is good for doing load development off the bench.
It seems to be a well made scope for the price. I like the lifetime warranty of Bushnell scopes. I don't know where it was made.
