I just finished setting up my CZ457 Synthetic skinny barrel with KRG Bravo chassis (Thanks GoBigTactical) with my optic from Wolverine Supplies; Athlon Talos BTR 4-14 x 44mm FFP (front focal point) with a Christmas Tree reticle and Illuminated reticle (takes a 2032 battery)
APLR2 reticle Athlon calls it…..
And I’m pleased with the way things are shooting at 50 yards….. have a look at the target…. Clock ray from 7 o’clock to top left to top center and then top right….

One has to love them Dollar Tree Blaze Orange Bingo Dabbers!! LOL ha ha ha ha
Here’s the scope / box….

Have a look at the label and the picture of the reticle….

This Athlon Talos BTR scope comes with a 30mm tube and I’m a fanboy of the ARMS22 throw lever rings (I’m always switching and changing optics)
For you CZ lovers I’m rocking an MDT 20 MOA base. I’m an MDT fanboy also. I love their products and also their warranty. They back up my customers/ Clients with their chassis issues. They also have tossed me 50 chamber flags for my junior program. Nice to be able to push the safety issues/concerns/priorities in front of the parents. They love that idea of safety being front and center. Thanks MDT!!

Current ammo choice is CCI SV for practice and some Eley Force (need to buy more) during upcoming competitions , but it seems I’m always lending this rifle to my Junior shooters and their parents.
Now back to the CZ 457 lovers… that finger groove bolt knob is an Area419 upgrade. It’s got an M5 (Metric) thread for the technically minded geek shooters! It’s a really quick upgrade (unscrew factory unit, and screw on Area419 baby).

The single advantage of being a Diabetic TypeII is the several prescription bottles I’m accumulating. I love using these prescription bottles as well as peanut butter jars for my ammo. And that’s what I pass on to my juniors/parents.

Now, this Christmas Tree reticle is a different unit from the EBR2 found in my Vortex Diamondback Tac 4-14-44mm scopes. I have TWO of them and also a third in 5-25-50mm, but this Athlon Talos is a bit shorter than my TWO Diamondback Tac scopes.
In the meantime, this KRG Bravo with 457 CZ is for my clients/ juniors/parents to play with. Life being perfect, I will soon get out and shoot (not much chance to shoot when I’m coaching all my juniors)
We are surrounded with all kinds of optics for rimfire competition …. We have lots and lots of choice.
Get out there and support our CGNUTZ board sponsors.
All the Best!!
Peace Be The Journey!
