severe leading

I have just received 4 vintage pistols with mondo leading in the cylinders. I have just 4 applications of D-Lead with brass brush just made the lead look shiny, before going the break free and sweets 7.62 route any other sugestions????

Brownells still lists the Lewis Lead Remover for $25.00. This is essentially a brass screen on the end of a cleaning rod, and works very well in revolver cylinders.

If it's the cylinder, I use Hoppes Tornado Brushes.

I have heard about the brass screen technique, but what is the hoppes tornado brush?

What you're seeing in the cylinders is mostly lube gunk. Take off the grips and drop the whole thing into your solvent and leave it there for 24 hours. Gives the solvent time to work. Then brush out the cylinders. Repeat if required.
