The Adler AD500 in Grey Synthetic is now available at SFRC. A non-restricted semi-auto in .308 Win is a hard combination to find in Canada, and this one delivers it with a clean, field-ready package at a solid price point.

Why it stands out:
  • .308 Win semi-auto, non-restricted - Full-power centrefire with fast follow-up shots. One of the more capable non-restricted platforms available to Canadian shooters.
  • 20" Cerakote barrel - Weather-resistant finish that holds up through Canadian seasons, with enough barrel length to get full performance out of the round.
  • Grey synthetic stock - Tough, weather-resistant, and purpose-built for field use. Looks sharp and won't warp or swell on you.
  • Adler Arms - Known for straightforward, reliable semi-auto designs. Nothing flashy, just a rifle that works.

Too bad the mag is not a flush fit with the stock. I'd guess it balances somewhere around the magazine.
I'm done with buying semi autos anyhow. Surprised it hasn't been banned already.

So sort of DI not piston?
Old school semi shotguns, there is a piston that moves about a half inch, then a rod, then another piece that acts on the carrier.
I think TNA has a video of it all apart.
I bought one a while back, just haven't shot it yet, it feels a bit like a Benelli R1 when you shoulder it.
