SFRC AR15's

Already lost interest.

Gonna be a long thread about "put me down for a 7.62X39" stuff. And there has been no mention of this caliber.

Lot of hype. No substance. Lots of e-mail notifications of people wanting "this" or "that"

See it when they show up.

Ryan is a business man and I'm sure is well aware of what the market wants. No need to tell him.

Unsubscribing.

First, there was no mention of ANY calibre: he says "Our own brand of AR15's will be coming out early next year. 7075 Forged, 556 chambered, free float rail, multiple barrel lengths, etc." and we assume .223... it may not be so. Maybe he'll only do a "multi-cal" marked lower and a 5.56x45NATO marked upper... If I have any chance on having a say I'll speak up. :D

Second, if people let Ryan know what they want then there is reassurance for Ryan to continue on with this: he knows it is a good idea but isn't it nice for him to be reassured? :D

Third, he is well aware of what the market wants because we are the market, and I plan to do my consumer duty and tell him what I want because I have cash to spend on what I want... no BS, no promises to buy, no what-ifs: I already have a SFRC account and Canadian currency in hand...

I know I am being speculative and wanting: but if Ryan produces the uppers I want then purchases shall be made. Plain, simple. 'nuff said. V:I:

Great.... so now instead of stopping and having a look once a month, i'll be there every two weeks!

Probably going to "need" one of these?

You guys and your deals.... how can a guy keep up?

Take this as the most serious advice ever: Canada has a massive untapped market for complete uppers in calibres other than 556/.223.

Because??? The other dealers that make them can't keep up? They are readily available.
But you don;t want to pay the price.......You just want a cheap price.

I agree with Max Owner.
It was stated they won;t be here until Spring or later. And people are asking for pricing and pics?
Asking for stuff not offered. Calibers and configurations not even being made.

??

Ryan should redo the thread. Make one with info and lock it. He can update when new info comes out.

This will be another Marstar thread...it will go on and on and on. Then people will start hating on Ryan because the product takes 4 months to get here. Even though he said it would

Read this whole thread and still confused:

1) Who manufactures the lower receiver and how will they be branded?
2) Who manufactures the barrels? Twist? Polygonal or traditional rifling?
3) 5.56, 223 or 223 Wylde?
4) MADE (not assembled) in Canada?
5) Chrome lined or nitro-carburized barrels? Bolt carriers?

Not to totally de-rail this thread, but I agree with YOU, quoting YOU directly:

Not nice to knock the other dealer. If you bring in the product early, you pay a higher price. When other dealers get on board, the pricing gets better.
Good for us all.
Let's thank the other dealer for getting the ball rolling. And thanks to 'The Gun Dealer' for bring in what looks like the full line. :)

Gas piston .308 for $2200! Very Nice.........

If more dealers and manufactures start making this stuff, the better for us all. :agree:

Personally, IMO, I think $1000 to $1600 for an upper and $1600 to $2400 for complete is fine Canadian pricing for quality AR (not a Norc, that is Cheap). I do think that the pricing of $2300 for an upper (Questar, sponsor link) and $1860 for an upper (again, sponsor link) is when, IMO, the line of "expensive" is crossed.

Here's hoping that SFRC's up coming products are in my "pricing for a quality AR" range, if so I will buy.
