Just a heads up for SFRC, the North Sylva thread on CGN about the Bandit Bootlegs has people wondering if the "in stock" items they ordered earlier this month were in fact a presale and had not yet been shipped by North Sylva. North Sylva has not confirmed that they shipped yet but their estimate was for Nov 15th at the latest.

Also do you guys know what the warranty for these guns looks like?

Here's a link to the more active North Sylva thread...

Chemist, as a loyal customer I'd like to hear what's going on too. You guys have been nothing but great to deal with over the years and this just isn't what you guys are known for. I felt something was up when I could add 99 of these rifles to my cart.

I called and emailed the store the day that the 14% off sale was announced ( the day after I placed a large order )

When i made the call to you guys to bandits were still listed for sale but at 369.99 ( 14% off of the 419.99)

Not sure why I couldn't cancel and re order ?

The woman who answered passed me onto a store manager, who didnt want to hear any of this

If the item hasn't shipped yet (still processing), let alone "this is a pre sale" that loyal CGN customers weren't told about, why dont you guys honor the 14% off for existing orders ?

At least give the guys who ordered a store credit for the difference seeing it hasn't shipped

It sais right in your terms and conditions if we want to cancel just as long as we use the balance for an in-store credit we wont be dinged the 3% credit card fee

Canceling Orders Once It Has Been Processed: Should you cancel an order after it has been switched to processing there will be a 3% fee to cover our credit card fees unless the refund is used as a store credit. If a shipping label has been created you will also be billed the shipping cost as well. If a transfer has been started for a restricted or prohibited firearm you can not cancel the order. Restricted/Prohibited purchases are final sales. No refunds will be given. If a law changes and the transfer is not able to be approved, please see the section below this one.

We do not back date Black Friday sales or any sales. You are more than welcome to cancel your order but we are not adjusting prices for previously ordered one. We made a small amount available for the sale and that is all there are for the sale. Once they arrive here they will ship out, they are on the way to us from the distributor.

Fair enough

Im only complaining about the 14% off sale due to the fact SFRC doesn't even have them in their possession, let alone shipped them out to any of the customers, and noone was told this was a "pre sale"

If these were already processed and shipping out i wouldn't be making these posts or complaining about the 14% off sale

Sorry, but selling them with no indicators that it wasn't on-site isn't cool.

We ordered them when we originally posted them, I don't think any have arrived to dealer yet. Unfortunately things happen some times that are beyond our control...the distributor that is shipping them is great to deal with and I am sure they want them out as fast as they can as well. Lots of places are a little short on staff due to deer hunting season, all the crappy weather lately etc. I do apologize them taking longer to get out.

With regards to warranty, we are the warranty centre for Chiappa in Canada.

All dealers regularly sell items as soon as they are ordered from the distributors or see an invoice showing they are on the way to the dealer. We see an invoice and we enter it into the system. I do apologize for this taking longer than usual and we want them out as soon as possible too. These seem like a pretty cool gun....I can't wait to put a full sized stock on it as well.

Thanks Ryan, that's good news on the warranty front!
How long is the warranty, and how have the previous LA322's been holding up?

We haven't seen that many LA322's with issues. In most cases its people dry firing them over and over and over, some lack of cleaning and a few extractors that broke....plus someone who was trying to fire 17 Mach 2 in a 22LR. When you factor in the sea containers that have probably been imported it isn't that bad. They seem pretty good. I haven't played with the new one yet but I assume its the same.

That's good news!

I found the one year Chiappa warranty time period info online easily enough. For some reason Chiappa USA offers 2 years free parts and service and another 3 years of free parts.

Sounds like some of the people interested in the "booty bandits" might be interested in some stocks, you might want to look at bringing a few in!
Thanks again.... :)

....but.....for example....the website shows 100 of somthing in stock on Wed night.....Thursday morning when a sale starts that stock number drops to 25.

Not all of their stock is available at the sale price.

At least that how it looks at times.

And..... I wait...... for a sale.....and i get lucky and get it on sale.
I careless if I have to wait an extra 4 days for them to recieve it before shipping it out.

I've ordered and paid forstuff from a store for them to direct order from North Sylva several times

I can 100% say I didn’t change anything from 100 to 25 units. We do take some items off the website for sales, usually when they are very low margin items. If you see something go from 100 to 25, it’s because we sold 75 items.
