[SFRC] Chiappa LA322 Bandit Bootleg 22 LR Lever-Action, 12" Barrel, Wood on theammosource.com

I wonder if ppl started noticing it's still the Chiappa with soft alloys and hit and miss quality... I need to know if my kids deserve another toy.

Anyone buying a Sub $400 Chiappa should be aware in advance that it's a cheaply made gun using soft alloys and anything else that can keep the costs down. The gun it's based on has been around for almost a decade so it's not a new design, just not as old as a 9422 or an even older Marlin 39.

So far mine seems to be pretty solid and performing well, the fact it's so cheap means I don't stress grinding the front sight into a finer bead or filling down the round top receiver to a flat surface so that I can use a low rail adapter or a peep sight from an older T-bolt.

It's a perfect beater type utility gun and so far it shoots well enough with the CCI quiets I've been testing and If it gets any scratches or dents I'm not going to worry about it much.... longterm durability remains to be determined, but it feels solid.

Any ETA when more will be available?

Any full length stocks available for the Chiappa bandit bootleg with the pistol grip as opposed to the straight grip? I seem to remember some talk awhile ago about you guys bringing some in..

North Sylva said they were bringing some in, it's hard to imagine there won't be an announcement when they arrive.
I would not be shocked if they arrive in the next month or so.....
