Hello all. I sent an Adler Arms RC-224 into SFRC Gunsmith for warranty work back in January and have had a very bad experience. Now they will not answer my emails about the whereabouts of the firearm when I was told 3 weeks ago that the firearm was fixed and being sent back to me. When I call them they say communication is only through email. I’m concerned if they even still actually have my firearm at their shop. Does anyone have any recommendations for dealing with this company or is it better to report it stolen and take the loss. Thank you!

Can you message me your name and I’ll check on it. Adler’s usually get turned around pretty quickly as long as we have the required parts in stock.

I am having a bad experience as well. Communication seems to simply not exist.
Have you not received a reply to a warranty email? I have two people replying to emails every day. Except for the people who email every other day with the same question we should be pretty caught up.

I’ve had no issues ever with SFRC. They bend over backwards and always make things right. In fact, I currently have a firearm there awaiting shipping. As with most of these complaints, I feel like there’s probably a lot more to this story.

I figured out who you are as your ID is your name.

Just a few things to clear up for everyone, they were not told it was fixed yet or shipped out. 12 days ago they were told it was currently on the gunsmith desk and it should be completed over the weekend barring any issues....there was an issue. They have been emailed three times since it was sent in and emailed us 7 minutes before posting on here...there is no one checking emails before 8am and 7 minutes isn't a realistic time from to reply.

I have never had any work done by SFRC, BUT I have contacted their gunsmith with an FYI about an EGE Arms Revolver action .410 that I have, that melted the 3" hull tips. The gunsmith was very quick to reply, and I was pretty encouraged by that, given if I needed any work ever done on that, I know at least I will get a response. No complaints here - I had a couple of exchanges with the gunsmith there and he was quick to reply.

Glad to hear the other side, as invariably there is always another side.

Ah, let me summarize what I think is going on here.
A “New Member” slags a shop, because he has little to no reading comprehension skills, and is a microwavable solution seeker….

To the OP, how much work do you think the gunsmith would get done in a day if he put down his tools every time an email came his way?

I’m glad someone from the shop put their side of the story up, it sure does paint a different chain of events from what the OP posted.

It’ll be interesting if we hear anything else from the “New Member”!?!?!

Me neither, always prompt with both communication and shipping. I had an issue with a broken extractor that was the result of off shore overloaded 9mm ammo. I did not buy the ammo from SFRC, but SFRC sent me one right away, as well as some other parts to make sure I had what I needed, and charged me nothing. I have since bought other stuff, and when they have what I need/want, I will continue to do so.
