Can I ask how is the QC of these? I had a 590 before and I found the bolt to be finished a bit rough. Does the professional series have this? How about the cerakote? Does it rub off after racking the pump for a few dozen rounds?Received mine a couple days ago, the shotgun is very nice, colour actually looks better in person (it’s a bit darker) action is very smooth out of the box, feels like the smoothed out some of the sharp edges also, the sights are nice they did keep the sights pretty low as explained in a video for calculating point of impact distance with slugs at 75 yards or something like that (I may have to watch the video again but they did this height for a reason)
Very impressed with the shotgun, going to try and blast some shells this weekend with it.
The quality of these is very good, and no the cerakote is not cheap they did a quality job. As for the wear when pumping the shotgun I think no matter the finish you will always see some sort of wear in that area. A lot of the rough edges on standard A1s have been smoothed out with this model, this is the best quality A1 they make at the moment, there is a couple YouTube videos that go over it they are worth a watch! Can I ask how is the QC of these? Gotcha, I think I'm sold on one. I prefer the 18.5 incher over the 20. I really do want the one with orange furnitureThe quality of these is very good, and no the cerakote is not cheap they did a quality job. I have one for sale only because I bought the 18.5 model first than the 20 inch came out.
They cost a little more than other A1 models but worth the premium.
