I am sure this has been discussed ad nauseam and I am probably going to be wrong on this:
Restricted firearms include:
Semi-automatic, centre-fire rifles and shotguns with a barrel shorter than 470 mm (15.67 inches);
Rifles and shotguns that can be fired when their overall length has been reduced by folding, telescoping or other means to less than 660 mm (22 inches); and
Prohibited firearms include:
Rifles and shotguns that have been altered by sawing or other means so that their barrel length is less than 457 mm (15.23 inches) or their overall length is less than 660 mm (22 inches);

So the above suggests that a shotgun with a barrel of 8.5 inches (215.9 mm) is prohibited???
Thoughts please
