SGWorks bullpup stock for SKS legal in Canada??

So.... no on the bullpup stock kit? Who was the retailer who was supposed to be bringing it in?

There was never a dealer bringing them in. They have been a prohibited device for 2 decades now.

The first new development would be the law changing. Actually the first development would be ridding ourselves of a liberal federal government. Then the law would have to change. Then dealers could bring them in.

Until then, prohibited.

No. A bullpup stock is a prohibited device. It doesn't matter who makes it.

Necro-thread alert!!! (sorry) What if someone designed a bullpup stock that had the sks dust-cover milled into it? That would make the stock an integral part of the rifle since the dust cover contains and retains the recoil spring and the rifle cannot be used without that dust cover in place.

No. You're still converting an existing rifle to a bullpup using a stock system. You cannot convert an existing firearm to a bullpup.

It would have to be the receiver anyways, not some miscellaneous gun parts. Because what was banned in the law is a stock + firearm that makes a bullpup.

A bullpup stock with a SKS dust cover isn't a firearm. Because an SKS dust cover isn't a firearm.

The reason why we have legal bullpup firearms in Canada is that the receiver of the firearm, is the stock too. Such as the tavor x95 and the T97, you can't remove the receiver from the stock because they are the same thing.
