Shadow 1 and 2 parts compatibility

Hi there,

Just thought about starting a parts compatibly betweeen the shadow 1 and 2 thread. This way if anyone wants to stock some spare parts, they won’t end up buying double, unless they want to. I know the mags are compatible, what say you gents.

Yes.

Step 1: Remove the front sight retaining roll pin and remove front sight to avoid damage.
Step 2: Secure your slide in a padded vise or rest the lower front part of the slide on a block of wood.
Step 3: Use a 11mm 3/8" socket and extension rod and slip that under the slide up against the barrel bushing.
Step 4: Using a heavy hammer or dead blow, give a couple firm raps on the socket extension and the barrel bushing should pop off.

Tip: If your bushing is on very tight, you can give the muzzle end of your slide a quick short burst of heat from a micro torch to warm it up then try knocking off the bushing.
