Is it me or am I reading the description of the pistol incorrectly? Epps today had 3 (already sold 2) of the new black with blue grips Shadow 2 up for sale. I noticed that the description states that these Recent Shadow 2s com with the "new" fully adjustable rear sight. That really angers me if it's true. Having purchased the Urban Grey model, it should have come with the adjustable sights as well.

Technically, Shadow 1 sights are adjustable for windage: take out the set screw and get a brass punch and a big hammer.

Shadow 2s have the same windage adjustment mechanism, but also have the added feature of adjustable elevation.

That's definitely not what I would call fully adjustable. What caught my attention was Epp's description of the Shadow 2 in black with blue grips. To quote directly it says... "NEW ADJUSTABLE REAR SIGHT". I took it to mean fully adjustable rear sight which the Urban Grey Shadow 2 doesn't have.

I was never concerned with adjustable sites for handguns. The most shooting I do is no further than 25 yds away, and factory sites are set for that, whether they are adjustable or fixed. If I did shoot 40-50, I would adjust my positioning to counter the distance, but it is rare that there are targets at those distances.

It is fully adjustable, turn the screw for elevation, move the whole sight for windage. But I've never understood windage on a pistol, if the sight is centered on your bore it should be good. If it's not their is a problem.

Slavex a number of pistols are known to have come with slight manufacturer tolerance issues causing them to shoot slightly off center. Glock locking block and m&p22 barrel weld to name a couple.
This is really the only excuse to need "windage" adjustment in my experience

I know a number of guns have shipped with bad tolerances (not talking CZ but other makes) and that has required windage adjustment, that's what a hammer is for. Once adjusted you should never need to adjust again for windage. Hell even with my sniper rifle I've never adjusted once zeroed, unless the wind was actually so bad I couldn't just do hold overs. As abb1 says, most of the time people just need to learn how to shoot their guns. I can't count the number of times I've had someone give me a gun that "shot off" and it was just fine, or they'd adjusted the site and now it was in fact, off.
