Been shooting the Shadow 2 for a bit now, I like it, however I am having issues with the slide stop.
Due to how I hold the gun and grip it, the slide stop is digging in my support hand and rubbing under recoil.
This is not noticeable for a few rounds, but after 200 round my hand gets sore and raw.

I did a quick search on the WEBZ and found people with the same problem, in those forums they claimed that they switch to the RAMI slide stop and this problem was solved, however, once they switch to the RAMI the pistol would not auto-forward anymore when inserting a new mag.
Please note that this was done on a Shadow 1, not shadow 2.

Wondering if there is a work around this for the Shadow 2. I like the gun but I find the slide causing pain in my hand (is this something I need to get over with and keep at it?)

Perhaps I should change to the extended safety and see if that changes my grip enough for me to not rub the slide stop anymore?

Any tips are welcome.

Cheers

- Grind material off the finger nub portion of the slide stop
- Replace slide stop with a pin-only type (for instance the CZ TS and Czechmate come with this pin). You lose the entire lock open functionality.

Are you trying to stay IPSC Production legal?

sadly CZ doesn't seem to be interested in making flush slidestops for the 2. As for the Shadow not autoforwarding with the Rami (flush) slidestop installed, if that's happening to people, it's because they are doing it wrong.

Kind of explains why I didn't understand how that could happen.
I've used the extended from day 1.
Glad to hear it's working out. Do you find the grip is better one way? Recoil management better?
