shadow and shadowline

The CANADIAN EDITION is the way to go for a little more than current retail pricing. A year ago, with the upgrades costing under $ 100, Shadowline is definitely competitive. My only comment is the still longer SA trigger pull. I am hoping that there is a way to reduce the SA creep before the triggers breaks. Camming action is gone which is the very basic mod from the original Shadow. DA trigger pull is always on the heavy side. Improved with a lighter mainspring. Reset is not bad but some forums recommend the pre-B Disconnect (Select Shooting Supplies carries this part as drop-in) for a shorter reset.

when they first came out it was worth it. Now? not at all.

What about the SA creep?
I just compared my Shadow line with the pre b disconnect to my Shadow without and the SA take up on my Shadowline is about 2mm and then a clean break. The take up on the Shadow is a lot. Never noticed the difference on the take up between the 2 pistols until this thread. Not sure if it is all due to the disconnect. The difference in the hammers may have something to do with it plus the Shadow line is tuned. I still have the stock hammer on the Shadow and the stock (Czech competition) hammer on the Shadowline. Hope this helps.

Lol! Just remembered I have an 85 Combat with the competition (US) hammer and pre b disconnect installed. It is the same as the Shadowline. 2mm take up and then a clean break.
