Well just to let you all know I am about to officially join the ranks of the addicted!

Just heard from Brandon at Delselins that my Shadow has shipped! I hope to have it in a few days!

UPDATE...It's here!

I will post a range report once I can get it there (likely February)

Thanks again for all of the feedback!

congrats on the Shadow..I got one and love it...Fun to shoot and very accurate.Clean off all the shipping gunk and give it an oil job or it wont eject spent shells(sometimes)..Other than that have fun and bring about 300 rounds your first time out cause you will need that much..:shotgun:

Congrats on the new toy.

I love mine and it seems to get better and better. I'm up to around 2100 rounds through it now. I had a couple of stovepipes over the first couple of hundred rounds but that went away. The DA on mine was a bit tight at first but it's smoothened up wonderfully over the first 1000 to 1200. But I also did a lot of dry firing in DA and tend to lower the hammer for the first shot in prep for IPSC this coming season.

I bought a Shadow yesterday in an attempt to cheer myself up after being disgusted by the SR9 I bought as a Christmas present for myself. I bought the CZ from DVC Ventures and since they have an indoor range, they let me shoot it as soon as I paid for it(Couldn't take it home, they're storing it for me until the paperwork is finished). I'm very, very impressed with the Shadow. I now own more than 10 handguns and the Shadow is by far the most accurate pistol I've ever owned or used(I've never fired an STI, Tanfoglio, or any custom pistols). The Shadow is now my favorite followed by my Sig P226(.40) and then my Glock 17.

The attached photo was taken last night when I was able to compare the CZ to my crappy SR9. Ignoring the small .22 holes, all the 9mm holes from the sr9 and the cz were made at >10 yards(I'm not sure of the exact distance, but it was more than half way down the range and since the range is 17 yards, I'm estimating it as more than 10yard distance.)

Regardless, at any given distance the Shadow shoots way better in my hands than the SR9. At similar distances, my groupings with the Sig and Glock are not as good as my Shadow performance.

Please note, I'm not trying to insult any Sig or Glock owners, I still like those guns very much. But, in my hands the Shadow shoots best.

ps. Anyone want to buy an SR9 with less than 400 rounds through it?

I'm a pretty new shooter but of all the 7 or 8 9mm handguns I tried the Shadow was the easiest to get tight groupings with, felt the best and was a clear winner in my choice of first gun. The fiber optic front really helps with gaining a quick sight picture.

Mine was a little tight at first with lazy ejections. If yours is the same don't worry about it. It'll smarten up after 300 to 400 rounds and perk right up. Clean it a time or two during that breakin period with particular attention to the slides to clean and oil them. That seemed to be the tight spot on mine. At 2000'ish rounds through it the brass flies with the best of them.

You're in for a treat and welcome to the family.

I found the trigger really light and double tapped unintenionally at first, coming from plastic gun triggers anyhow. I agree great gun cause I have one too.:D

BC rider have you done anything to the ejector? My gun seems to stove pipe and I have about 300-400 rounds through it.
