Found this guy on Kijiji, nice fellow. Just wanted to share the resource with some other CGNers. His wood isnt 600$ stock blank quality. Not even close. But picking through his selection I found a couple gems. I only took enough for what I needed but if I ever make another stock I will go to him. Costed me just 25$ for 2 pieces of GOOD maple, nice stuff. each piece was 50"x6"x2.5". He kiln dries the wood to sell for furniture. He has a couple selections of wood.

Does he sell walnut too?
I found a fella on kiJiji in Calgary selling chunks of walnut the other year, bought a piece large enough to make 6 stocks for about $150, but I had to cut it in pieces, sold off a couple worth, for about twice what I paid, but I had to rip them and run them through the planer, kijiji can be a good spot to find walnut if you got a bit of luck and wood tools
