Sharing the Browning Auto 5 disease, magnum edition

Western Gun Parts - old school shop, you gotta actually call and talk to them and see what they got. Website is basically contact info only.

They shipped quick and knew exactly what they were talking about, and best of all actually had this stuff in stock. I was absolutely floored they stocked it.

Smart bunch of folks.

What does the jury say about storing your spare friction rings under the recoil spring. Personally I wouldn't do it. I think it causes too much prelode.

It's a long recoil system, so your two problems would be not enough preload/spring (hammer the receiver to death) or too much spring pressure (won't eject).

If its ejecting light trap loads with the spares in the stack at the back, it's fine.

.Thanks for the advice. I use medium range/skeet lead all the time and I have an oily zip-lock in a zippered pouch in my day pack where they are kept so I think I'll take the factory advice.
