Yeah It is not really hefty when you look at the facilities and services you are getting, but for my pocket book unfortunately it is. Does aurora or Sharon allow day passes, visitors or have specific open night? Because that would just be amazing!

I can't speak for Barrie, but at Sharon you can shoot as a guest for $10 but you have to come with a member. There are no open day/nights.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced place to shoot skeet, have a look at Toronto Internation Trap and Skeet Club or T.I.T.S.C near Cookstown. I shoot there and you don't even have to be a member. It's skeet, trap, fivestand and olympic only....no rifle/pistol etc.
