Figured I'd share my experience with my Pedersoli Sharp's business in 45-70

It's set up with a pedersoli long range silhouette set
Been working up loads to try and get out to shooting at 1km (eventually)

So far I've gotten to 70.5gr of Schutzen FFG compressed with a Ox-Yoke and a 530gr bullet.

My longest shot so far was 600m on a 20''x20'x gong.

I Enjoy seeing the fire twisting from the rifling

I have the same scope on my 40-70 Sharps Straight with the same mounts that came with the scope. On my rifle, the adjustment screws kept coming loose. I upgraded the mounts to Hi-Lux "Sliding 6 mounts" Much better......when I remember to return the scope to battery!!!!

I'm liking it so far. My front dovetail has come loose during a recent range trip. Hopefully this isn't a reoccur issue

pull the sight out and tap the edges of the dovetail a bit with a brass hammer or punch, and that will tighten up the dovetail.
