When I moved back to Alberta in 2009, I had some things in storage just west of town on Highway 55. One bleak early March morning I was removing a few needed possessions. In the nearby snow covered grassy fields I could have swore I did see a small covey of Sharptails hanging around the edges of this field. I know for sure they have a yellow comb over thier eyes (the males??) but they were too far away. And it was in poor light and hard to confirm other than that flying football shape of the well fed ones, as they fly away from you, that one sees often enough in Southern Saskatchewan.

Has anyone else seen Sharpies up here??

Cheers!
